What Prior Experience Do I Need?

Many franchise businesses are looking for people with a very particular skill set – a fast food franchise might want someone who has worked in a restaurant; a printing franchise prefers someone with a lot of knowledge about printing; a cleaning franchise is probably looking for someone with a background in the cleaning industry.

At Drama Kids, it doesn’t matter whether you’ve ever taught a child. We have developed a carefully constructed system and professionally developed curriculum over our 14-plus years in business that includes detailed lesson plans for each class, which makes our methods superior to those of other children’s programs. We provide everything you need to succeed, and we teach you how build your business. Teaching our lessons is a highly trainable skill – we train our franchisees so well that they can effectively train their managers and employees.

Part of our corporate culture is making sure that our students and their parents remain satisfied and that we offer a first-rate classroom experience every time. Don’t be intimidated by the fact that you’ve never taught professionally. Drama Kids could still be the perfect franchise for you.

“I felt that if I was to go back into the workforce, I needed a job that was meaningful to me and a valuable service to others. I’m now a positive influence to my students and I’m my own boss in my home office. I receive great support from Drama Kids and have met some great Drama Kids owners who are now my friends. Drama Kids has been a good investment for me on so many levels.”
– Tricia Foster, Drama Kids of Northeast Dallas, Texas

Drama Kids franchise owners come from all walks of life. Our franchisee family includes people from such varied sectors as human resources, sales, marketing, technology, and education. What they had in common was a desire to own their own business and a commitment to following the Drama Kids system to make a difference in children’s lives.

Our Drama Kids staff is dedicated to supporting the success of our franchisees. We provide a telephone and webinar based “Quick Start” training program, followed by a 40-hour week of training. After our initial training program is complete, a member of our team will visit you in your market to help you get started. From there, we continue to provide you with superior support throughout your experience as a Drama Kids franchise owner. When you need us, we are there for you.

We want someone with a passion for making a difference and improving your community. If you bring your passion for working with and developing children, your skills and experience, and the required capital, we’ll teach you everything else you need to know.
